Country Place Garage Sale & Bake Sale

September 24-26, 2026 at Clubhouse

Garage & Bake Sale Times:

Thursday, Sept 24, 5-8pm - Open to CP residents only

Friday, Sept 25, 8am-6pm - Open to the public

Saturday, Sept 26, 8am-Noon - Open to the public. Everything ½ off.

All CP residents are encouraged to clean out their condos and garages and donate their treasures to our community garage sale. Additionally, we are looking for some generous bakers to donate some delicious baked goods for the bake sale.

Profits made from both sales will be used to fund the much-needed reserve study. Let's work together to raise funds for our neighborhood.

Garage Sale Items

Acceptable items for the garage sale include gently used clothing, working small appliances, toys, books, home decor, tools, and furniture. Items should be clean, safe, and fully functional.

The committee will sort and price everything.

Drop off items at the Clubhouse September 18 through September 23, daily 8am - 7pm, except Sunday: noon-4pm. If you need to drop off at another time, please contact one of the committee members listed below. Please do not leave items outside the Clubhouse.

Bake Sale Items

Items - whole pies, cakes, cookies, breads, and bars- must be homemade. Do not price, cut, or package your homemade goods. The committee will sort and price everything.

Homemade items for the bake sale may be dropped off at the Clubhouse on Thursday, September 24 from 8am-1pm. Contact Pat Barker at (217)741-0880 with questions.

Need help getting donated items to Clubhouse? Contact one of the committee members if you need your garage sale items and/or bake sale items picked up.

Volunteers needed!

1. Pick up and deliver donated sale items to Clubhouse
2. Accept, sort, and price items during the week before the sale
3. Work the sale (shifts) - keep sale organized, tidy, and assist customers
4. Take money (work in pairs - one to take money and one to bag)
